Abstract:
Frequency selective surface (FSS) is a two-dimensional plane periodic structure, such periodic structures have a selective action on the angle of incidence, polarization and frequency of the plane electromagnetic wave that irradiate the surface, this structures is a spatial filter, thus the engineering application is extensive. The demand for engineering applications made it quickly become a research focus, developed quickly. Previous studies have found that the multilayer FSS compared with individual FSS has a better frequency response characteristics in the practical application. But due to the actual application of FSS structure is a curved surface structure, which will inevitably lead to unit center-asymmetry or cycles different. Therefore, carrying out a study of the design and analysis of principle for FSS composites comprising of multiple FSS screens of unequal periodicity is extremely important. Therefore, this paper respectively in the double and triple cycle FSS screens of unequal periodicity analyzes the influence of the form of cells, the structural parameters of the unit, the distance between the layers, the number of cycles and the incident angle on the working band and the maximum transmittance by Finite Difference Time Domain methods. Thus analysis the stability of the FSS comprising of multiple FSS screens of unequal periodicity and the same cycle at different incident angles. Integrating these factors and analysis transmission characteristics of electromagnetic wave in this multiple FSS screens of unequal periodicity to lay the foundation for design and application of multiple FSS screens of unequal periodicity.
