Abstract:
A new modification scheme is established and an excellent hydraulic model is selected in accordance with the practical situation of reconstruction project in the main pump of the Wujiang pumping station. This paper studys the new hydraulic performance and operating program after modification by device testing. Besides, the paper carrys out numerical simulation on oninlet and outlet conduit by CFD simulation computation.Wujiang pumping station uses six sets of2.8CJ-70-axial pump, the impeller diameter is2.8m,the rotate speed is150r/min,the pump lift is5.62m,the flow rate is designed as21.0m3/s,the pump matches TDC-325/360-40synchronous electrical machine, with capacity1600Kw. Through the comparison and selection between models, TJ04-02model has better characteristics,but it has large flow rate which requires large negative angle. Therefore, in accordance with the practical situation of reconstruction project in the main pump of the Wujiang pumping station, WJ-12model is further-developed on the basis of TJ04-02model.Finally, the pump device embraces WJ-12model equipped with2.8CJ70entrance bucket and original inlet and outlet conduit, and the hydraulic performance tests are carried out on the high accurancy universal testing stand of Yangzhou University.5blade angles are tested on the WJ-12model pump:0°、-2°、-4°、-6°、-8°,the Working Condition Point is that the highest lift reaches the highest net lift, the lowest lift reaches the lowest net lift. The dynamic characteristics of pump model are accquired through experiments at different angles,and comprehensive energy performances curves of models and prototypes can be drew according to the test characteristic results. Besides, different cavitation performance results and critical changes of NPSH curves are accquired by testing NPSH at different blade angles.Meanwhile, this paper adopts methods of numerical calculation of three-dimensional turbulent flow to conduct simulation and analysis of the flow in inlet and outlet conduit of Wujiang pumping station, to select feature section, to scale a hodograph contour map, to calculate the hydraulic characteristics of inlet and outlet flow indicator, to get a more comprehensive access to pump performance.Through the combination of model test study and numerical computation, this article provides an important basis and guarantee for the revamping project of impeller of Wujiang pumping station. At the same time, this article provides a good reference for future renovation of large-sized pumping station construction.
