Abstract:
CIPS (Computer Integrated Process System) is the direction of CPL (Continuous Process Industry) automation. It integrates all distributed process control systems and business management by computer information technology, global optimizing enterprise operation to improve chance of survival. CIPS is a hierarchical system, the production scheduling layer lies between the decision-making layer and the monitor control layer, Production scheduling layer is the hinge on which the management system can be integrated. Process modeling including short-term scheduling, medium-term scheduling and long-term scheduling problem are studied and discussed in detail in the design of the multipurpose plants. The following is the main contributions of the present thesis: Firstly, A brief survey on process modeling and process scheduling technology is given, the existing problems are also pointed out as follows: (It) Batch processes are widely used in the continuous process industries. Their automation and optimization pose difficult issues mainly because it is necessary to operate concurrently with continuous and discrete models. (2) Practical process scheduling is a well-known difficult application problem. (3) A bottleneck problem existed in CIPS is software implementation. Secondly, Based on the study and discussion in detail in the short-term scheduling and medium or long term scheduling. For short-term scheduling, models are extended to the process that both batch and continuous process existed. For medium or long term scheduling, a model is purposed for the order-oriented scheduling problem, and fuzzy logic was used to handle the due date of the order. Next, An optimization problem was considered by designing a plant. Two methods based on mSTN and RTN presentation were discussed. In term of the demand of Zhejiang Jinshou cement co ltd, an application procedure package was developed for the production scheduling; it conduced to making decision for the management. Finally, the Whole paper is summarized and the challenges will be met in future are presented.
