Abstract:
Distributed database system is an important tool to improve database reliability,scalability, and achieve a balanced load, improve data access speed. Deployment ofdistributed database cluster nodes in different parts not only provides a convenient forlocal users to access the database, mutual backup and redundancy provided a strongguarantee for data security and disaster recovery. Separate databases often need t add toan existing distributed database cluster, or two small database cluster to be merged intoone larger, but it is often encountered issues that it’s accessed in different ways or hardto synchronize which caused by the different database variety.Integration of heterogeneous database systems’ main job is to get rid of the differencesbetween the heterogeneous databases cluster and make each other to achieve mutualcooperation. Integration of heterogeneous database system is necessary to haveflexibility, but also with integrity, this paper analyzes the domestic and internationalintegrated of heterogeneous database system and proposed a database integration andsynchronization scheme which based Web services package, designed a kind ofrelational database Web package model and implemented mainly modules of it. UsingXML to be the middle-file of synchronization between heterogeneous databases,develop the appropriate data conversion programs, and designed conversion algorithmto achieve data synchronization between heterogeneous databases. Experiments showthat, the method can achieve the uniform interface to heterogeneous databases andcomplete the normal operation of database. Meanwhile, it can converse data fast,capture data changing and achieve data migration, achieve heterogeneous databasesynchronization.
