Abstract:
With the development of industry monitoring and control technology, more attentions are takento the wireless communication technology. To collect the field signal, short distance wirelesscommunication technology has been used widely. Because of the role wireless sensor nodes taken inthe monitoring and control field, the wireless sensor nodes with advantage of low price, low powerand real-time is very suitable to be used in the field of monitoring and control. Thus, it is veryimportant to have a kind of superior performance wireless sensor nodes for data collecting, dataprocessing and transmissing, and command feedbacking.In this paper, the IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee protocol is applied, and the hardware structure, which isbased on MSP430and CC2420, is designed to transmit wireless singal successfully in several kinds ofnetwork structures. The electro0magnetic compatibility and signal integrity are the foundation of thenode hardware circuit analysis. Also, transmission line effect, impedance match and system grand payan important role in the process of the RF multi-layer PCB drawing. The better performance ofintegrated chips are selected to minimize the static power. In the process of the software design,status-change model and interrupt wake-up mechanism can not only minimize the dynamic power, butalso simplify the system structures. Also, the way of short distance and dual-hop, as well as themethod to drop the collision in the same signal channel, can improve the real-time performance.In this paper, AD model in MSP430is used to collect the data from signal generator, the resultscan verify the accuracy of signal transmission. And the current consume in different models of thewireless sensor node are measured in the laboratory. It is proved that the results are also acceptable.The way in software is used to gauge the delay of signal exchange in different network structures,according to the result, the data can meet the most demand in the industry monitoring and control.According to the experiments above, it is proved that the system can transmit data stably in hardwarestructure, and can also assure the real-time in software structure. The system designed in this paperhas some value in the field of monitoring and control.
